# Welcome

Introduction

**Helpdesk** is a full-stack helpdesk and support ticket package built for Laravel. It provides everything you need to add a complete support system to your Laravel application without having to build the ticketing infrastructure from scratch.

Users can create detailed support tickets, describe their issues, and attach media when needed. The package includes a ready-to-use admin panel for managing tickets, conversations, users, and other essential helpdesk operations.

Helpdesk also includes features such as **messenger notifications, advanced filtering, configurable ticket statuses and priorities, and theme customization**. Most of the package can be configured to fit the requirements of your application, while the available customization options allow you to adapt the look and behavior to your needs.

Whether you need a simple support system or a more complete helpdesk solution, Helpdesk gives you a solid foundation that integrates naturally with Laravel.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://lakm.gitbook.io/helpdesk/documentation/welcome.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
